The engineering capability
inside every True Bond baby monitor.
Most “baby monitor factories” are assembly houses for someone else’s reference board.
True Bond designs, tests, and manufactures its own. This page is how we prove it.
——Capability Stack
Eight disciplines, one team.
A baby monitor isn’t one thing — it’s a wireless RF link, a camera sensor pipeline, a display controller, a battery system, and the firmware that ties them together. We do all of it.
The result: when you ask for a 5″ screen instead of 4.3″, we don’t rebid the project. We just do it.
What our engineering and production floor actually looks like.
Photo placeholders below match real areas of our Shenzhen facility. We're updating the photography pass — these will be replaced with the corresponding production shots.
What each capability actually means for your product.
PCBA Design
In-house schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout. We optimize the BOM for component availability and cost, and review every design for EMC compliance before tape-out.
SMT Manufacturing
Multi-line SMT capacity with pick-and-place, reflow profiling, automated optical inspection, in-circuit testing, and X-ray for BGA / QFN packages.
Camera Module Integration
CMOS sensor and lens selection matched to your enclosure. IR-cut filter switching, IR-LED driver design, day/night transition tuning, white balance.
Display Control Board
TFT-LCD driving from 2.4″ up to 7″, capacitive or membrane button matrix, integrated audio amplifier, status LEDs and battery management on a single board.
Wireless Transmission Solution
2.4 GHz wireless link tuning — antenna design, link budget, channel hopping, latency targets, and range optimization for the No-WiFi baby monitor segment. WiFi smart and dual-mode platforms available as ODM development directions.
Firmware Support
Embedded C firmware owned by us. We add UI languages, lullabies, behavioral tweaks, and feature flags. Custom features for ODM projects are scoped before quote.
Product Testing
Reliability testing for drop, vibration, button cycle life, temperature-humidity endurance, audio quality in anechoic rooms, and RF performance over distance.
Quality Control
IQC on incoming components, IPQC on the line, OQC on finished units. 100% functional test on every monitor before it ships. Sampling plans documented per order.
What we can change, and what we won’t.
Customization is honest work, not magic. Here’s the line we draw.
Housing, screen size, camera sensor, button layout, firmware UI, lullabies, packaging, accessory pack, certifications.
Adding WiFi or app control to V1 / V2 — these are No-WiFi platforms. WiFi smart and dual-mode monitors are available as new ODM development.
Make claims we can’t validate. If a spec isn’t in our test report, it’s not in our datasheet.
